Sheldon L. Davis, MD, FACS

Sheldon Davis, MD, grew up in the Detroit, Michigan area.  After his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University (B.S. in psychology),  he attended the University of Michigan Medical School, receiving his medical degree. Giving up the cool summers and cooler winters, he moved to “warmer” St Louis to complete a residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) at Washington University.

Having fully expecting to return north following residency,  the attraction of living in St Louis six years  proved too much to give up and he and his family adopted this great city and he has been here ever since...... even adopting his beloved Blues and Cardinals!

Dr. Davis has been in private practice in the St Louis area since finishing residency with offices in the North County,  West County and St Peters area.  He recently combined those practices to the West County location on the grounds of St Lukes Hospital.  During those years, he maintained a teaching affiliation with Washington University as a clinical associate professor until 2019.

His practice ranges from pediatrics to adults, treating the full spectrum of general ear, nose and throat conditions.

Included in the office is a complete Audiology Department for evaluation of hearing problems including hearing aid counseling and fittings along with state of the art assistive listening devices.

Allergy testing and treatment is part of the spectrum including allergy shots, if indicated.

Sleep apnea is a big part of the practice.  If you have daytime sleepiness,  or never feel rested in the morning or are tired of getting elbowed to turn over when the snoring gets loud,  call and come in for an evaluation.

You are invited to call or visit and meet our friendly team who can make your visit “painless” from scheduling to handling those annoying insurance issues
